Dynasty last year was real good, I was there. Would've been nice if they could've hit up the Blues arena, tho they got a home game that night so i can see why. Of course I would not rank wrestledream as an A level ppv (original 4) or maybe even a B level (Forbidden Door, All Out, Worlds End - CC finals), so a smaller venue is understandable.

They did 6600 for Dynasty and it was nearly packed to capacity. Hopefully they can do the same this time around.

So obviously 'ALL IN' has become their big event of the year. It's what they put the most focus on.

What's second?

'ALL OUT' is usually a big deal serving as basically the epilogue to 'ALL IN' and a new beginning.

'Double or Nothing' has the Owen Finals on the road to 'ALL IN' and was also their first ever PPV

'Revolution' was huge for Sting's retirement

'World's End' has the CC Finals

'Forbidden Door' is their big co-promotional event (although they have started to do other events like that throughout the year)

Penta is clearly much higher on the pecking order in WWE than Fenix, but he’s also already 40. The time for him to be the next Rey Mysterio has likely passed him by.

Is the first show of the year and usually has the longest gap between PPVs, and happens during WWEs hype season so that energy inevitably transfers over as wrestling fans are trained to expect something big.

It's also been consistently in the bigger NBA tier arenas and markers instead of some of the secondary type suburban spots they run their other PPVs.

I'd say there's a "Big 3" all pretty much on a level after All In... I wouldn't expect any of them to disappear/get replaced:

All In - definitely the biggest. The grand opening/grand finale with all the lore going back to the initial Meltzer challenge.

Big 3:

Double Or Nothing - first AEW PPV and keeping the AITA tradition

Revolution - the WORKRATE PPV

Forbidden Door - AEW's interpromotional heart

I don't think you can lose any of these without losing something vital to the AEW spirit.

I'd maybe put FD second as it's such a signature event, but Revolution, DoN all have just as good arguments.

All Out nearly makes the list but awkward scheduling with All In for a couple of years made it start to feel like a bit of an afterthought.

All Out was usually their best PPV of the year prior to All In being a thing. So I would go All Out. Full Gear is probably third.

Nah he has the flying knee cleared. He did that to save Blue Panther when they were down for the Dynamite/ROH taping in Mexico. 0% chance he had the dive cleared though.

Full Gear use to be the end of the year blow out show. It's when Hangman beat Kenny for the title (2021). It's when MJF beat Moxley for the title (2022). Last two years have been whatever though. Probably since World's End became a thing.
