Do people even mess with ESPN as much these days as the past? Seems like I've heard their quality has fallen off, especially the programming. I don't keep up with sportscenter like when i was younger, especially now during baseball only season. I also think all the good analysts they had back then are all gone. Dan Patrick, Chris Berman, Stuart Scott, etc., don't think any of the newer gen is as popular.

Not to mention fact that wrestling was never really promoted on there whether thru tv or website. Better to get news on social media cuz it's in real-time and also comes from non biased sources.

The actual sporting events are fine. However:
1) They treat sports that aren't the NFL like red-headed step children
2) The non-live event programming has become Hot Take Central to generate clicks instead of actually analyzing what's happening in certain sports. For example, there's no need to be talking about LeBron in August during a Cubs/Cardinals baseball game.

Probably the right thing for him and AEW since his presence isn't missed at all on the product and he can get that one final run before the HOF induction.

[AEW Dynamite Spoilers] PWInsider: WILL OSPREAY UPDATE

For those asking about Will Ospreay's comments about needing neck surgery on AEW Dynamite we are told by several sources that is 100% legitimate and he is absolutely looking at neck surgery in the near future.

Hopefully he sits his ass down after this cage match and gets the surgery. He can return at Wembley next year during All In.

Fat boy is now stanning ESPN? lmaoo What a weirdo. People watch ESPN when the games are on obviously just like NBC or CBS or FOX. I couldn't tell you if anyone watches their other programming, 'First Take' is trash.

How the hell you go 6 years with a torn meniscus :what:

I have a friend who we play basketball with who had a meniscus tear for years and just played on it. When he finally got surgery he was back playing again within 2 months.

Another friend in my run group just had surgery a couple months ago and is already running again.

Its just a matter of how much discomfort can you handle. Neither one said it was intolerable so it might just be minor discomfort.

Not surprised Ospreay is wrestling anyway, wrestlers are fukking insane like that. I just hope dude doesn't do neck spots during the match (unless is that silly chair gimmick Death Riders love to do), the endgame for him is All In 2026 anyways so go heal yourself.

He will. He's as sick if not worse than Danielson. He's gonna put us through it on Sunday, but hopefully it's something that just looks brutal.

I still think they're overblowing something to give him a mountain to climb next year honestly. If it was THAT serious he wouldn't be cleared, no lights-out shenanigans.

I mean, wrestlers keep going with fukked up necks all the time (Austin, Angle, Edge, Owens, Danielson, etc.) so working a match with one isn't that big of a deal. But the issues comes is the wrestler does a spot that puts that body part at risk. Specially if it's a delicate spot like the neck.

Like, Danielson had a fukked up neck after the Ospreay match and still did a Vertebreaker spot with Swerve at Wembley. But even that spot was done as safely as humanly possible. Ospreay can bleed and bump all he wants on Sunday but don't do a "get spiked on your head" spot....

All these injuries to the roster. :damn:

If Swerve and Os gonna be out for a while, it would be the time to make Lashley a dominant champ. It seems like MJF will dethrone Page by the end of the year. That’s the one bad thing about TK booking hometown wins: predictable.

If MJF wins the title next, he shouldn’t even have a long reign. Let Bob beat him within a 2 month reign. It might humble MJF’s character Too.
