Like I said last week, this year's CC should be treated like a big deal. It's a big opportunity both for the booking and the talent, as it should be used to both elevate people and create a bunch of threads that will lead to new angles and rivalries for months to come.

What to do in the meantime is something TK has historically struggled. Like breh said above, Sept and Oct are usually down months for creative, most likely because of the Jaguars starting a new season

I do wonder what could be done with Hangman to avoid what happened in his last title reign. He kinda needs a new Swerve-like rivalry that comes out of nowhere.

The only thing that matters is to see if the TV deal is gonna get renewed or not and we won't know that before the end of 2027 cause they signed a three-year deal with another optional year that started in January.

Basically. "How to get the next TV deal" has to be AEW's goal going forward, but that's a discussion that's at least 12-18 months down the line.

That rating was fukking horrible but in a vacuum is pretty meaningless. We'll see what it means in hindsight.

We know that the CC is going to be great from an in-ring standpoint but I'd like to

A) see some guys elevated from that this year
B) see Take and Okada finally get at each other in a real way

It wouldn't even be a bad idea to have the winner get the title match at 'Revolution'

There's no evidence to support it. Just saw this pop up on my feed. Looked up the venue and capacity for wrestling around 17k. Hopefully they can get close to that by booking a solid enough card and show. Treat it like a ppv if need be. Maybe BD will be on the card.
