Hopefully, The Blade can get back in the ring one day. The Butcher & The Blade were super fun to watch, but they were also very underrated.

Agree - you need some midcard muscle that never needs to win the big one, but still means something to be beaten.

Give Swirl or Cru a win against Butcher/Blade and they're instantly legit.

I'm scrolling thru the forum and didn't see the thread. I'm like damn did i miss some fukkery last night and they ended up bushing it. Which actually i don't even see the bushes on here anymore lol. So i look for a notification for it and come back in. I must've hit the ignore thread button by accident when scrolling smh.

I think it should've been a ppv but gonna be exciting nonetheless. Of course with the way they planned out venues months in advance, that wasn't possible. Giving fans the match on free tv is better in that regard tho. Hopefully everyone stays healthy. Need a strong buildup tho it has been pretty good so far.

This is gonna be very interesting. I think men's War Games type of matches have hit ceiling in terms of violence and the stuff they can do inside the cage to keep people engaged. The really stupid trend of making these matches way longer than they should doesn't help matters either. It's become like Hell In A Cell were most of the time you end up with a bunch of weapons inside the cage being used repeatedly, being caged in isn't a big difference from other gimmick/hardcore matches.

In the women's case though...it's probably gonna be shorter (25-30 minutes tops) and even though they do get violent as fukk in AEW, it's still a novelty so the use of the cage and blood will resonate way more than if the men were doing it.

Execution is key though. Brawls give you the opportunity to worry less about moves looking pretty, but they still gotta look violent. If it doesn't seem like they are hurting each other, it's gonna be a DUD. But again, AEW has had some dope ass hardcore women matches so I'm looking forward to how this pans out.

TK said recently people might be able to work out where it was going to be by the seating plans for upcoming shows... so I guess they might as well announce early, but are they gonna build this for 6 weeks?:lupe:

A women's Dynamite main event announced over a month out and it's not even involving the title scenes or Mercedes/Toni? :leon: Division's flexing..:ohlawd:
