Michael Oku made his ROH debut last night against Nick Wayne in what was allegedly a banger. That match was uploaded onto YouTube today for a special edition of ROH. Just now starting up that match, it’s at the 25-minute mark if you’re interested.

IWC: SHIW ME THE PROOF!

WBD Suit during quarter meetings: good numbers from AEW across both platforms. Good investment to get back into pro wrestling. :obama:

IWC: SHOW ME THE PROOF!

:dead:

The idea from the IWC is that WBD are lying to their investors over wrestling numbers :mjlol: So fukking delusional...

If we’re keeping it real, I bet all those numbers are cooked across every show on tv. Like 5 minutes of watching still translates to total views.

Slightly related, Let’s not act like the WWE doesn’t cook attendance ratings. They about to say 70k a night for Mania when only a little over 50k seats distributed. :skip:

Of course the streamers are cooking numbers :mjlol:

But let's be serious here. max has a lot of subs in the U.S. and there's no reason for WBD to lie to investors (or anyone) about what numbers AEW is doing or whether or not they are happy with it. It's wrestling, it's a small little sliver of what WBD represents in entertainment.

We know they are doing between 600-700k on TBS alone. It's pretty obvious with max they are going over a million viewers weekly. It's basic math.

Max has nearly as many US subscribers as TNT and TBS do. And streaming subscribers typically are younger than cable/satellite subscribers. Ads also cost more on a per/viewer basis, so the streaming viewers are more valuable.
