Max has nearly as many US subscribers as TNT and TBS do. And streaming subscribers typically are younger than cable/satellite subscribers. Ads also cost more on a per/viewer basis, so the streaming viewers are more valuable.Of course the streamers are cooking numbers
But let's be serious here. max has a lot of subs in the U.S. and there's no reason for WBD to lie to investors (or anyone) about what numbers AEW is doing or whether or not they are happy with it. It's wrestling, it's a small little sliver of what WBD represents in entertainment.
We know they are doing between 600-700k on TBS alone. It's pretty obvious with max they are going over a million viewers weekly. It's basic math.
