For all intents and purposes, AEW has abandoned "The Look" so most big guys know that it's not your ideal destination and even smaller guys who used to be cut tend to slack off because it's not necessary. That alone adds credence to this rumor but that's all it is.

If it's true though, that's another level of petty and insecure to not be utilized because your physical regimen makes frail, flabby, or mid MFs feel uncomfortable. If you know it's hard for YOU to believe you're winning against this guy, you know the audience has to feel the same.
