Jamie Hayter is injured again

Hayter had a standout match against Mercedes Mone at AEW Double or Nothing that immediately had fans asking about her physical status.
When Fightful reached out, Hayter told us she was okay, and worked an angle with Thekla on that week's Dynamite.
Since then, Hayter hasn't appeared, and wasn't at this past week's Dynamite. Sources in the company said that Hayter would be booked if she were available and indicated she hasn't been cleared. We don't have a timetable on her return.
We're told that AEW had to "get creative" with the Thekla-Hayter angle, which is why the lights went out. They're hopeful they have Hayter back soon.

I don’t think there’s ever been a report of a legit reason. It’s probably one or a combo of any of those things and Tony just having no idea what to do with him.

When he's around he's always been pushed strong. But he just...isn't around. Guy just up and vanishes from TV for a month or two or maybe more with no storyline his entire AEW run. I can see why he hasn't had a strong solo storyline in multiple years. Seems like you can't depend on him to be there for anything more than 2-3 weeks at a time for whatever reason.

He got hurt in his last match and last I heard is that he was expected to be out quite a while.

As someone who used to deal with work comp stuff...

Don't be a dumbass like this guy - if you get hurt at work, file an official incident report ASAP or you are asking to get fukked over by your employer or their work comp insurance company. And make sure to have the names of witnesses, if there are any. If it's your word against the company word, good luck with that.

Your job is no good to you if you aren't healthy enough to do it, and if you are out of work for longer than the federally mandated length of FMLA (just up to 12 weeks), the company can fire yo. And chances are they will do that so they can replace you with someone cheaper.

If you're scared doing it will get you fired or demoted, which is generally but not always illegal, that should be a giant red flag that you need to find a different company to work for.
