Take this to your common sense related conclusions

Since this is an AEW thread.... let's talk about how they do 650k-700k on cable.... and pretend that nobody watches on max even though max has more U.S. subscribers than there are viewers of TBS :mjlol:

Regardless.... cable continues to decline in overall viewership and it wouldn't be a bad idea for Tony Khan to look into more streaming options before the next deal is up

The people I talk with on Discord mostly watch either on Max or Triller via VPN so they can watch ad free.

I got rid my of my YouTube TV back in late December and have been watching on Max ever since.

They should look into Amazon. They already have a business relationship with them - Amazon preferred provider for PPVs now (until whenever the fukk Max starts selling them) and AEW has been selling some Amazing exclusive merch for a while now.

But the WBD deal with simulcasting is the place to be right now. Raw’s numbers on Netflix in the US are allegedly worse than they were when they were on USA despite Netflix being in significantly more US homes than cable, so obviously they allegedly lost a significant # of viewers from cable who apparently just don’t have Netflix. By being on both cable and streaming you basically capture the largest audience possible.

It's a good place to be now but what I'm saying is that eventually cable is not going to be a viable option for anyone, it's going to be free broadcast channels and then whatever services you pick up

shytt..... right now I got Netflix, Peacock, max, Disney/Hulu, Prime and Paramount :dead:

I barely watch anything over broadcast/cable anymore - even the channels that are free-to-air are available to stream live and most have some sort of watch later/replay feature and generally it's better quality and better featured (pause, rewind etc) to stream.

I only plug the aerial into the back of my TV once every other year during the World Cup or the Euros and that's just because if I don't I'm on a ~10s delay from my next door neighbour and his cheering spoils the goals if we've got the balcony door open :pachaha:
