@Jmare007 Look at this. They were smart to get the hell out of Chicago for this. Already at 8,000 sold a few months out

Yeah, we talked about this show last week. I've also read that ticket prices went down to reasonable levels, which was something AEW stopped doing in Canada the in 2023 and 2024 IIRC. That, and not over saturating the market like they did last year as well.

It took them longer that it should've but they've made all the right choices regarding venue bookings. The only exceptions were the Tokyo Dome and the Australia show but even with the latter, they pivoted at the right time and had a successful show.

All In this is the only other big gamble they took that wont be a home run. That show is probably gonna end up being a big success financially but will fall short of the big huge event TK envisioned it to be.

I barely watch anything over broadcast/cable anymore - even the channels that are free-to-air are available to stream live and most have some sort of watch later/replay feature and generally it's better quality and better featured (pause, rewind etc) to stream.

I only plug the aerial into the back of my TV once every other year during the World Cup or the Euros and that's just because if I don't I'm on a ~10s delay from my next door neighbour and his cheering spoils the goals if we've got the balcony door open :pachaha:
Even the rare non-sports programming I would watch on free TV is available next day on Hulu or one of the other apps anymore.

The goal was to be their largest US crowd, which it likely will end up being.

Bigger gap between PPVs so they can book the show properly is also gonna help. Likely gonna pass last years All Out by the time All In comes around. Not sure if it can pass that 2023 FD but if they get some decent momentum in the product and ticket sales, it's a possibility. Most of the available seats look to be the cheap seats so not like those would be hard to sell.

For TK's post show presser, sure. He's gonna say "All In Texas, the largest US crowd in AEW history" or "largest non WWE attendance in 26 years".

But you can't tell me he envisioned a show were they gonna have to do magic with camera shots to not show big empty areas...unless they are able to do a huge late push to get to 30k-ish.

They'll be at over 20K so they won't have to magic camera shots. :camby:Plus they've got it setup where the hard cam and the big stage is going to be cutting off a sizable portion of the stadium's seating, all of centerfield and left field won't be visible. Not sure if they haven't opened up much along the left foul line or if mostly all of that section has been sold though.

Last year Summerslam had 50k+ in a 67k stadium and you could still see big tarps. I highly doubt 25k in a 45k stadium wont need specific camera shots so you don't see the large parts that aren't being used :manny:

I don't why I even bother with this, you are gonna be so defensive about this until show time and if there's empty seats you gonna be like "the show made money and it had great matches, who cares :manny:" and act like this convo never happened :mjlol:

Her first public statement :mjlol:

The two wrestlers got the fans talking after Mortos posted a photo of them together with a caption, "en tus brazos encuentro paz" ... which translates to "In your arms I find your peace." The words certainly insinuated love was in the air ... Moné confirmed to us they are indeed dating -- describing it to us as "A real beauty and the beast situation."

It is unclear how long they have been together, but it comes close to a year after Moné filed for divorce from her ex-husband, Sarath Ton, following eight years of marriage.

The 33-year-old later revealed the two had been separated for years ... but made it clear they had no hard feelings.

Moné has had tons of success with AEW after leaving WWE -- she is the current TBS Champion. Beyond her AEW title, she holds the RevPro undisputed British Women's Championship and the EWA Women's Championship.

Moné is dating a man of many talents. The Beast used to be a former veterinarian, nurse and in just four months, he's set to become a lawyer!

Safe to say she likes a masked man ... and likely what's underneath it, too.
