I guess that would be fine but does FTR/E&C really need to be for the titles? I love Lashley/Shelton as a team obviously but I'd like to see both of them work more singles too.

That said I feel like The Hurt Syndicate has really energized the tag division. There wasn't much going on before they got there
it doesnt but then why would they run this tournament then ? unless they swerving us and giving us 2 different matches FTR/EnC and HS vs Brodido :manny: i think by the end of tomorrows dynamite we'll have more answers

If it's me.... then yeah I'd prefer to see Brody and Bandido win the tag titles than FTR :manny: :russ:

So pretty much MVP doesn't like Speedball for whatever reason and everything else was wrong. MVP has preferences of who he'd like HS to lose to but nobody has been pitched TO beat them yet. According to SRS:

There have been rumors about The Hurt Syndicate, specifically MVP, and the tag title run around them.

A recent Twitter Space from The Wrestling Binder's JCup2013 that indicated a number of issues that Fightful Select has also heard discussed over a number of months. On the Space, it was claimed that MVP had rubbed a lot of people the wrong way resulting in heat, which is something that had been echoed by a number of talent for the last couple of months.

We haven't particularly heard anything regarding Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin specifically, but it has been well known backstage that MVP dislikes Speedball Mike Bailey, and a number of talent say that MVP made that clear, and that he didn't want Hurt Syndicate losing to JetSpeed. To be clear, we were never told it was in the cards for them to lose to JetSpeed. Nobody that we spoke to knew a specific reason for MVP's dislike of Mike Bailey. Of the numerous people on the talent roster we spoke to, they said that this year was the best they've seen the locker room in years, and that most of the roster just dismisses issues.

There have been a number of creative pitches, and we should be clear that the following are claims we've heard within the company, and we aren't sure how far they've got. One of the pitches was for FTR to win at All In to start a redemption story. FTR was pitched to face Swerve and Ospreay as well, but Ospreay's injury derailed all of his creative plans after All In. FTR would then go on to face Cope & Christian down the line. The claim internally was that Hurt Syndicate said no to losing to FTR at both All In and Forbidden Door.

Instead, MVP had stated that the team preferred to lose the championships to younger teams or talent. MVP's personal preferences were that of Gates of Agony, The Outrunners and Private Party. There was also discussion that they would have been open to losing to Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay, but we were told that due to Ospreay's neck injury, that wasn't much of a consideration.

When checking in the company about the preferred teams of Hurt Syndicate's to lose to, it was noted that Hurt Syndicate has already beaten all three teams. The frustration from the locker room is that the team are heels that do cool moves, beat up everyone, and give fans fives on the way out.

We've not heard anything regarding the element of Hurt Syndicate leaving the company at this point. The trio have multi-year deals with a number of years left on the deal.

There were hints to us that MJF and The Hurt Syndicate were originally supposed to last longer, but we're told there isn't heat between MJF and Hurt Syndicate. Specifically, we were told MJF and Hurt Syndicate have no issues behind the scenes.

Anything else mentioned that has been rumored, we can't speak to.
“everything else was wrong” :mjlol:

except that fightful is confirming mvp has rubbed a lot of people in aew the wrong way (:mjpls:)

hurt syndicate refused to drop the belts to ftr on two occasions

and that the roster doesn’t like that hurt syndicate are heels but use a babyface moveset and give high fives to fans

fightful also says they have known about this for months.. yet they just so happened to wait to report about it until it recently came up on someone else’s twitter space. how convenient of them. and if fightful is reporting it you know tony khan gave the ok. this is a hit piece and an excuse for when hurt syndicate go MIA.

What is this, like the fifth “_______ doesn’t want to lose and is getting heat backstage” leak? shyt is starting to get predictable :pachaha:

And Shelton has already lost on TV a few times. I have no doubt they are trying to protect their character after Triple H "had nothing for them" and they should try to protect their character.

SRS said the plans with FTR have changed multiple times

There's always going to be politicking in wrestling but

"Mox won't lose to AEW guys..." He put over Hangman twice

"Mercedes won't lose to anyone" Puts over Toni Storm on their biggest show

Then you never hear anything about it after from the beards

Hangman has 3 wins over Mox.

I’m honestly over the dumbass marks. It’s a broken record with them and they’re gonna complain, hate watch, or keep eyes on the product no matter what. You can’t win with them and it’s a cycle of bullshyt.

In general, Wrestling fandom is filled with shytty, retarded, whiny marks and a handful of decent fans. Most of the fans I met at live events were cool AF. When I was at 300 I met a dude who was from the east coast and we shytted on the weirdos on the IWC. :heh:
