Welp, the rest of the roster better be fighting for a spot for the Continental Classic because if they take advantage of that weekly spot on TV + digital content during the tournament, they could establish themselves as a viable option for the uppermidcard/main event while Swerve/Omega/Ospreay are out.

If these injuries make Jericho sleaze his way in for another push I'm once again dropping out and not watching this company

OC should be coming back soon.

Time to build Take as the big babyface, which they might be doing already; maybe give him a manager to help out.

Maybe Darby steps up after the feud with Mox?

Lashley can cook as a dominant champ, but I don’t know how TK will book him or THS in the next few months after this story with Rico and GOA. Kinda seems they’re gonna be in the trios division if MVP starts to work more.

There’s a handful of talent who can rise up. I think it’s gonna be an interesting thing to see these next 6-8 months. :ehh:

I was reading about Jericho on Twitter and one guy commented that he was the reason for watching so it jericho left he would stop watching. Don't know how insane you gotta be to be such a big fan of jericho in 2025. That guy needs help lol.

Interesting thought about your other points tho. Will have to provide more of my thoughts.

Still a few months away so anything can happen but def good to have a potential outlook on things regarding the CC. Def feel like it could be a stepping stone type of thing this year for certain guys, but also depends on how the storylines look. Don't think guys like hangman, mox, or mjf, should be in it. Takeshyta is a wild card guess depending on how things go with njpw, but unless he destined to win, don't see it, rather he be involved in his own storyline.

Who knows how the tourney or stakes will even play out. I'm ok with Briscoe being in it again. He tends to be consistent with his matches and tourney. If they wanna push DG more then he should be in. Ricochet another one that could be useful. If Kingston back soon then him. OC as well. Wardlow too, opposite of Okada bracket if they need another DCF member. Shoot give us Hologram too.

They gotta get thru these next few months and see who can step up with so many injuries. The guys available just gotta carry things until reinforcements arrive.

Of course if all else fails, wouldn't mind seeing a women's CC.

Takeshyta should be winning the IWGP title in October (that's when his title shot is scheduled), I wouldn't count on him being that big of a factor on weekly TV for a while. Probably a special attraction role with 1-2 monthly matches on TV and of course PPV appearances.

With all these injuries, this is Tony’s shot at proving he can actually build stars and not just rely on his favorite toys.
Is this really still a talking point when Swerve, Hangman, Toni and MJF have become big time names in the wrestling industry?

I’d even throw in Will Ospreay into the mix because most of the American audience didn’t know of him until he was featured in AEW. Even TSC marks were shytting on Will when he came out to crickets in some bumfukk town when TK was featuring him as a NJ contracted talent. Now he’s one of the most popular wrestlers in AEW.

You might even add Darby as one of AEW’s lowkey stars. :manny:

I know this is an opportunity to make another star (or stars), but let’s give TK a little more credit here. He’s not striking out often. :ld:
