You'd be more of a fool not giving your child the tools to understand these things...now 2nd grade is too early imo but this should be taught in an educational setting instead of in peer groups/on the streets where they'd be getting all sorts of shytty incorrect information.
I’d rather they teach my kid How to write in cursive. Somethings they currently aren’t required to teach apparently.I dont see the big deal. Might as well educate them early before shyt sneaks up on them.

Outside of your signature writting in cursive isn't that useful the cursive class in my middle school was replaced with a computer typing class. We had to learn all the keys without looking at them and type at a certain rate to pass.
