I havent even heard the album but I think the rollout has been very interesting. If streaming music is the norm then why can't you update it when you feel like? Albums have been getting re-released for years, but this album can change every day if Kanye wants...
It's mad innovative. Opens up a lot of new possibilities for album releases
An album should feel like a Story, like a Collective Piece of Music. Could you imagine buying a Movie, watching it, then a month later they have a new Scene for you to download? Then 2 weeks later a new Scene? Then another? Unlike a Directors Cut or different Theatrical Version this is a way for Artists to release half-assed projects & allow them to patch it up as they go along & even disrupt the "feel" of the Album if that makes sense?
Maybe that's just me but I don't like the idea of Artists treating their Albums like a PS4 game...
