Don't think my Mount Rushmore will ever change. Punk is such a great, genuine, flawed, and authentic human being and performer. The flaws always made him feel real. The anger. The bitterness. The stubborness. I think it all stands out because wrestling is obviously performative and fake, but the lines are always blurred with him because there is an authenticity that you can't sell even when performing/acting/being a showman. He has it. He was born with it.
True star, and beyond happy he's back. As a wrestling fan, I didn't realize how much I needed that shyt until I reacted the way I did at his return.
