its definitely not useless i got contacted by recruiters all the time on it

i would say that the more technology related your career is the more important is to have one, if you are in a technology related field you are basically an idiot if you dont have one, if you arent in technology then its 50/50

but as a general rule you should have one, their job search engine is very good

I don't think I'll really be needing it until 2018/2019 after I've graduated uni :lolbron: unless it's useful to find minor part time jobs? :yeshrug: I was just curious

you might be able to find an internship on it, but I never had that experience. No harm in trying. Try to network at your school, and get an internship or part time job in the field you want to be in, that way you will build up a little experience so fresh out of school you'll be ahead of the pack already, plus you will know people, its crazy how true it is that its really all about who you know. I cant emphasize that enough, I knew dudes who graduated top of their class couldn't find a job on their own, but they hit up a high level acquaintance, who got them in. You seem like a smart guy, you'll be fine.

If it wasn't for LinkedIN I'd probably still be living at home working some B.S. job with no girl at the age of 29.

I have more than doubled my salary in the past 4 years using that shyt. Will be on the 100k tip in just 2 more years guaranteed. Which is still nothing in NYC, but better than most.
