I hate when films do this for marketing. EVERY TIME it’s an over exaggeration. This movie was not LIKE THAT

Def be marketing in their bag lol. However, there is something to be said for the *casual* moviegoer---whereas we in the film room watch shyt like this for fun---I had friends & family tell me it was disturbing lol.

Movie was so wack to me. First they were wearing jeans and regular boots knowing they would walk for miles and miles. Not one person was wearing shorts or jogger and sneakers

Then when they starting getting tired they were helping each other out knowing last man standing wins

Walking 300 plus miles and none of them slept at night

Saying I love you to each other, bytch Yall just met 3 days ago

Movie was so unrealistic

Is the character the same otherwise? Meaning his dialogue, attitude etc
McVries? It's been awhile since I read it but I want to say but I think he was more cynical and it was implied that
he attempted to rape/got really aggressive trying to be intimate with his girlfriend which is how he got the scar on his face

Yeah in the movie the character seemed way too positive and relaxed given the world they're supposed to be living in. Actually all of them do, the whole atmosphere seems too "light" given the context, don't know if it's the same in the book though.
