Eastside of that Motor
This makes no sense because he went into a shot fake...and the only way to go into a shot fake is with two hands...and once he uses two hands it is a double dribble...
You gotta look at the refs angle tho. Even on the initial replay it looked like he did the shot hezzy where you put your hand above your other hand with the ball when you fake but your hands don't touch. Steph's hands just barely touched but there's no way the ref could see. Hell OP got a zoomed in slo mo of catch it an hour later :skip:

Brolic... Alcoholics
He doubled dribbled & Bron was still an inch from smacking that shyt off the backboard & into the stands :ohhh:
Is there any other group of fans that use "almost" as a measurement of greatness like LeBron fans. He's the only great player I can think that gets celebrated for his Ls.

Dude traveled his ass off. Why are people still hype about that play?
Because the league's been letting dudes get away with travels/carries/double dribbles. You can't benefit from it on your offensive end, and then when someone uses it to score on you, negate the fact that you got schooled just because it wouldn't have been allowed in 1957. :stopitslime: It's 2017, pros get an extra step/dribble because they're taller/bigger/more momentum, and it makes more interesting action. You can cry about it, not gonna change shyt. And people are hyped because he maintained his balance while eating up a dude 6 inches taller and damn near a hundred pounds heavier than him. Salty lebron stans stay mad :umad:

Lebron was just tired as he ran the floor to cover Curry. Curry meanwhile was fresh and double dribbling. The lengths to which these Golden States fans go to stan for this piss colored loser when Kevin Durant is the key behind Golden States' record is incredible.

:russ::lolbron: Bron stans really furious in here.

":pacspit: IT WAS A DOUBLE DRIBBLE"

It was. I can beat Lebron with my low handles if all I do is double dribble like Curry did. The refs missed a call.

Was not a "blatant" double dribble:mjlol:

I'm sure none of y'all was saying this before y'all saw the super slow motion replay. Blatant is some shyt you notice in real time. This was hardly noticeable in real time

Funny thing is I was waiting for the replay to confirm my suspicions during the game

Exactly. I knew something was fishy on that play. Steph looked to hesitate and burst, but I didn't get to see the replay and so I just accepted he beat Lebron. He didn't. Steph held the ball with both hands after holding the ball once, while dribbling, which means his entire sequence is just a double-dribble. He didn't cross out anyone. He double-dribbled.

Lebron took two steps and then dribbled on his third. That's not a travel. A travel is three steps holding the ball. Lebron took 1, 2 and started dribbling on the third.

I know shyt about playing basketball. Can you all explain how he double dribbled?

"Official NBA rules. In the National Basketball Association, a dribble is movement of the ball, caused by a player in control, who throws or touches the ball into the air or to the floor. The dribble ends when the player: Touches the ball simultaneously with both hands."

^

If you look at the video you'll see Curry touch the ball with both hands after he initially begins his dribble. Curry keeps dribbling after he touches the ball with both hands, which per the rules, should have been ruled a "double dribble" violation. In other words, Curry can't touch the ball with two hands once, dribble, touch the ball again with two hands, then continue dribbling, which is exactly what he did. That's "double dribble" and what Curry did to "beat" Lebron.

Lebron basically shut Curry down on that play and Curry panicked, cheated and the refs let him get away with it.
