I'm almost certain that they have a quota to fill. I think every team has to have a Female in a front-office position or on a coaching staff by a certain date. Silver said himself that he has a program in place.

Players had no respect. Trying to get at her. It was a disaster. Idk why they thought it was a good idea. The d-league paid little to nothing to at that time. Even worse than now. The guys just didn't value it for the most part. Most dudes wasn't getting NBA callups at the time.

nikkas was wildin when she became the HC. All of the D-League which wasn't many teams and the NBA looked at the experience.
She got no respect. nikkas was harassing her. Just a terrible overall experience. One she doesn't like to talk about often. I never thought it was a good idea at that time when I first saw her pic which isn't this on but when she got hired. Women who look like her and Joni Taylor will get holled at. Just the way it was. Now days, dudes don't say much unless spoken to first. You gotta be cautious.
