luniz were always overrated to me. they aren't in the same tier as m.o.p. or eightball & mjg.

operation stackola overall was disappointing and lunatik muzik wasn't much better. i never listened to any of the solo shyt by yukmouth so i can't speak on that.

I said the same shyt. These nikkas should never be on the tier of ball & g and MOP. Those two groups put in way better albums and their longevity isn't even comparable.

my favorite mop album is firing squad and i don't think it's touching comin out hard. not sure where the luniz come into this equation...i mean i like their first album and yukmouth is a great mc but they just don't have the discography to be going up against these other 2 duos?

Operation Stackola is a Bay classic....I always viewed the shyt as a comedy album, both them Luniz albums. Which is not necessarily a bad thing but when compared or going head to head with the hardcore or serious vibe of a MOP or EMJG .....Nah.

I'll say this, replace the Luniz with the Bad N Fluenz. Most cats don't even know a song by them nikkaz and one of the members died but their first album and the singles they released, they could DEFINITELY compete in this particular MOP EMJG tourney.

shyt I am from California and don't think they deserve to be mentioned along side 8Ball and MJG or MOP.

They have a classic song and a good album but that run was short. I don't think anyone has ever dissed MOP but The Luniz got shyt on by Too Short who summed it up...
