that's what i'm saying.
i'm not dissing the talent of the singers. i just think it's weird how folks in the 70s, 60s, 80s and 90s were making the same type of songs that folks today are making BUT folks think it's okay to diss today's singers or the songs of today for the message BUT give a pass to the folks in the past. hell, the singers in the past were simping way harder than drake. teddy pendergrass was trying to make the whole "you broke up with me so i'm drinking and thinking, ready to kill myself because you left" and folks are scared to say WTF to that. yet if drake said the same thing, folks would have a field day. that makes no sense. if something is lame, it's lame. doesn't matter whose mouth it came out of.

. just think it's odd how folks will give a pass to marvin gaye who was married but simping for tammy terell while she was messing with guys that were beating her ass like david ruffin BUT yet clown drake for simping on a stripper or whoever. as i said, lame is lame. doesn't matter which point of time it is or who it is. it just shows that many folks in here can't keep it real and don't like the truth. you can't trash one dude for doing the same shyt someone did before his time then talk about "it was the time period". that just makes you a hypocrite.
no, i know it is because i've had threads that i've made in the past basically be copied down to a t by someone else soon after and i've seen how the responses were entirely different. folks would basically tell me "you can't say that" or make me feel bad for having an opinion BUT then turn around and cosign someone else saying "i agree with you" and basically turn the thread into a smash hit. then when i mention it, folks get all quiet and act like it didn't happen. who are you fooling?
i've been around you folks long enough to know how you guys contradict yourselves on a daily basis then think that your inputs should be taken seriously.
when you guys can keep it real and stop playing games, then maybe folks will respect you guys and your opinions. til then you guys hold no weight. i know what to expect out of most of you anyway so what can i say.:fakkit:
