If Disney are smart just say episode 7,8 and 9 was an alternate verse and wasn’t part of the main timeline. That way you wipe away that shyt stain on the franchise.

Just do it like Dallas and make that the new trilogy was a dream (or nightmare) of luke's. Or maybe that the trilogy was some possible future that he thought of while meditating. I do not care if they just came out and said that they are saying the trilogy never existed and was a mass hallucination on our parts, just get rid of it.

He was destined to bring balance but how the movies played out in the force awakens and the rest of the new ones he is no where to be seen and the galaxy is in shambles. Also given Luke is in that island all shook up makes me believe something bad happened?

The worst thing to happen to Star Wars is the irrational super fans. Can't make them fukkers happy for nothing.

I knew it was Luke from the X-Wing and the green saber and I STILL lost my shyt. If you couldn't appreciate that, something's wrong with you, not the scene.

The thing is the movies were so bad people were watching this just waiting for the moment they fukked it up. I kept watching thinking, no way they gonna do this right, they gonna fukk it up. So at the end I sat there like they didnt fukk it up!

long time between now and the new trilogy. Could be he just completes his training and moves on prior to those events.
