You'd think with all this money freed up they'd use it to extend him :yeshrug:
i was thinking the same. they'd probably extend him for 10 years only to trade him in a couple years for next to nothing anyway though.

who knows if he even wants to sign that extension with them now though. i'm sure he's counting the days til he can get to arbitration.

Honestly the Jays still might not be good, Buck and Bonifacio are nothing special unless you think .250 hitters with low obp are special. Buehrle is gonna be Larry Holmes status in the AL, Reyes and Johnson might both be damaged goods and/or injury prone.

Believe it or not it aint a terrible deal for the Marlins. Its almost equivalent to what the Red Sox did with the Dodgers.

torontonian and this is how i feel. toronto franchises are doomed no matter whhat ..not top mention we gotta worry about Tampa, NY, Boston and even the fukkin Orioles now :smh:

something is bound to fukk it up. injuries will occur

Miami fukkin up no doubt .. but who lost more in the last year? The Marlins or Reyes?

Marlins got a new stadium and sold some tickets this year (along with a shyt load of merch) ..

Reyes on the other hand .. wanted warm weather, fine bytches, the beach and hella money. After one year of that lifestyle .. he now has to endure cold ass weather, Canucks on the daily, the snow, and he's gonna get that Canadia tax on top of it all. :heh:

Dude wont be dancing in the dugout this year. :jawalrus:

Snow? Baseball is played mostly during the summer. If Reyes can't handle april and september, he's a p*ssy. Tax sucks, but at least he gets to play on what looks like a good team.

And Marlins fans got screwed but at least u got two championships to hold on to. Selig should step in and do something with ownership. Baseball needs a salary floor, I figured they already had one but guess not.
