I always liked the story of how that song came about, because Jimmy Iovine heard the album and thought it needed a hit, so Eminem made "The Way I Am" out of frustration. And then that ended up leading into "The Real Slim Shady" being made.

Yea I think heard about that story before. That also might be one of Em’s best beats. It’s weird cause he says Dre’s name on it in the beginning.

This was a Dark Comical album. The controversy around this album was crazy. I remember my History teacher in Jr High started the class one day on the week it dropped with "guys....whats up with this Eminem guy??"

I've always enjoyed TES more but this album deserves its respect
