Interesting post. If you could somehow discount two things, I might agree. if you can discount the cultural impact, and somehow remove the filler songs on The Massacre, I might agree. Also, I think the best songs on GRODT are better than the best songs on The Massacre.
But in hindsight The Massacre has probably aged a little better, and is a more consistent listen (again if you take out some of the filler and radio-friendly songs).
A good Massacre tracklist might be:
In My Hood
I'm Supposed to Die Tonight
Piggy Bank
Outta Control
Get in My Car
Ski Mask Way
Baltimore Love Thing
Ryder Music
Disco Inferno
Gunz Come Out
Position of Power
God Gave Me Style
I Don't Need Em
Hate It Or Love It Remix
The latter half of GRODT is what gets weaker IMO. The intro all the wayup until Blood Hound is really solid, and the Back Down and Don't Push Me and the bonus tracks really stand out still. 21 Questions holds up better than P.I.M.P. and Like My Style and Poor Lil Rich also don't hold up as much anymore. Gotta Make it to Heaven is okay. I still like the lyrics but not so much the production.

Massacre? Fif sounds like Brian Pumper trying flow on that album, and don't get me started on the production.

50 only sold so well because of GRODT's success, Massacre there ain't better than his debut. although there are some good songs like In My Hood, I'm Supposed To Die Tonight, Ski Mask Way, God Gave Me Style but it just sounds more lazy and effortless.

Wish 50 hadn't cut this. Or maybe it was supposed to be on Curtis. Yeah, I think Curtis. Either way it was dope. Prodigy rapped on this beat first for Return of the Mac/HNIC 2 but P let 50 have it. Anyone remember what Prodigy song that was? @mobbinfms @savoutch ?
The Massacre's generic and popish records were more generic and popping than the ones on GRODT, and the massacre was too overkill and way too long, but these were really solid IMO.

it really isn't. it's better produced but pound for pound the songs on massacre are better imo.
