No point in really quoting the article seeing how most are already familiar with the event and it's meant to be visual. Not sure how I feel about this approach...

The visible nature a comic books like this make it much easier to teach about an easy and difficult topics such as the Rosewood Massacre. It may make it more digestible for some people who would never bother to watch a program or read a book on such an unsettling topic.
