At the end of 2000, Woods had won nine of the twenty PGA Tour events he entered and had broken the record for lowest scoring average in tour history. :wtf:

This gotta be the hardest sports accomplishment

Just winning one is considered a great year

I was 12 years old and I remember we were celebrating my great grand dad bday. There was a bbq at his house. Kids outside running around outside food smelling good. All the grown folks was in the living room watching Tiger dominate Pebble Beach on Sunday wearing the red.

I would come in every now and then when tiger was on tv to watch him. Even at 12 I knew I was watching dominance

quick research for myself

Bubba Watson, Ben Crenshaw, Bernhard Langer, and José María Olazábal both have this exact distinction; 2 masters, no other majors. Interesting

Yeah it’s dope. It’s kinda cool that you can’t bring your phone so you have no choice but to focus on golf lol. It was a culture shock when I went to Quail Hallow In Charlotte and saw so many phones. Go if you’re able at some point. It’s a dope place even if you’re not a huge golf fan
