The Mayors of Suplex City Thread

As discussed in the Monday Night Raw thread when Brock Lesnar was called the "9th Mayor of Suplex City" by Paul Heyman in the WWE 2K17 commercial a valid question was asked.... "Who were the first 8 mayors?" Many names were being named of the likes of Guerrero, Dr. Death, C**** B*****, Hennig, and etc.

So now we can discuss in this thread on who we think were the first 8 mayors.... and also determine when did Brock officially became the 9th mayor

Taz belongs high on this list. He may be kind of a cornball outside of the character at times but look at some of the suplexes he hit in 1998 and 1999 few made it look more artistic.

His WWE run and TNA commentator stint made me forget Taz actually was suplexing everyone in ECW. Yeah, he's a mayor too.

November to Remember 1998. Dude opened that match with 3 picture perfect suplexes.


It's sad that he became kind of a muppet because Taz 1996-1999 was 10 years ahead of his time as a gimmick.

He was onto what makes MMA popular now in the 90's in some ways Taz was Lesnar now in 1998, don't sell much, rarely lose, be mad for no reason, spam suplexes
