It's pretty wild to think that half the people in this country that work make less than $42K. The average new car price is more than those people make in a year.
so tf what. when i was in college and working drive thru at a bbq joint i wasn't expecting to buy a new car or a home.
i copped a used car and had an apartment roomate like a lot of young people do.
do you think i should have been able to do that with no real education or experience? lol
Yes... you should be able to afford shelter if you work full time
i was able to afford shelter working part time. the other poster is talking about new cars and buying a house. there is other forms of housing and transportation. nobody is entitled to a new car lol. its a whole used vehicle market out here!

See this is why you’re a fakkit.
We’re simply dealing with wage theft. No other way around it. It makes zero sense the people doing the literal labor behind an idea don’t get broken off accordingly, while millionaires and billionaires are sucking up all of the income.
And you’re one of the dummies with your stupid purse wide open happy with it happening. Shut your dumb ass up. You disgust me.![]()

McDonald's literally tells people to get two jobs if they wanna survive.
I'm assuming you're above 30. Look at the time you're talking about. I'm 29 and that bullshyt wasn't even true when I was in college unless you made above minimum wage and had MULTIPLE roommates
I think that common workers should be paid a living wage that allows them to afford the products they contribute to making. Even Henry Ford knew that.so tf what. when i was in college and working drive thru at a bbq joint i wasn't expecting to buy a new car or a home.
