Resume building and interview tips

What are some good programs I should get involved with or some skills should I pick up for it?

learn adobe illustrator and photoshop asap, you won't have to know a lot but most companies want you to know how to do some basic shyt.

Learn html and css. Do you have any experience creating websites or editing website pages? If so you should be good on that.

Blogging which is pretty basic.

Now this part is crucial in the marketing field... SEO and PPC.

I won't go too much into them right now but both are the foundation of how Google ranks your companies website/website pages. SEO is pretty easy. PPC, which is pay per click is a little more difficult and it involves the ads you see when you search on google or the visual ads you see on various websites. I highly recommend learning both.. try to get an internship where you'll be doing both before you graduate.

Also you can get certification for PPC.. I just got my certification the other day and now I qualify for jobs that are paying up to 30,000 more a year.

Real shyt a lot of this you can learn on YouTube and various sites. It will take a while but all of it will eventually click. Like I said earlier though get an internship before you graduate.
