Love how people are acting like Miami has something to prove in the regular season, the pacers have to prove they are better than the heat, not the other way around.

First it was rose and the bulls :camby: then it was the pacers :camby: then boston :camby: then last year you nikkas said it was the knicks :camby: and now we are supposed to be shaking in our boots at the pacers again?

People love crowning a team to be the one to topple the heat, i dont care about home court honestly, if game 7 rolls around and its in indy im still taking :gladbron: and its :camby: for the pacers again

I don't see them winning a championship, they're awful on defense and on the boards. both of those aren't "coasting" problems.

Yes both are....that's lack of effort...which is what people are referring to when they say they are "coasting"...

Who in the west do you figure would give them problems?

The Spurs, GSW, and I guess OKC if Scott Brooks plays with big lineups and outcoaches Spo

That's a big IF though.

If GSW breaks through, they have a couple perimeter defenders.. Bogut is protecting the paint... Lee and Curry always seem to go off against the Heat

If the Spurs make it back, Belinelli has proven he's an upgrade over Neal. Ginobili is MUCH better than he was in June, he's literally risen from the dead and is back to playing 6th man of the year type ball. Duncan is still Duncan and Parker is still Parker. They aren't playing as well as 2013 but they could be coasting too... Parker just won the Euros in the summer and is probably tired too. Don't forget Boris Diaw's versatility and his defensive ability to guard multiple positions... he did a good job on LeBron when Leonard wasn't guarding him.

I was starting to have doubts; Then i remembered that we are only HALF WAY through the regular season where they tend to play to the level of the opposition. Also, the bum teams tend to play their hearts out against the Heat in the regular season.
The only team i see causing them problems in the playoffs is Indiana. However, Indiana might be good but they don't look or play like an elite team. Limit Hibbert to regular season averages (Sign Bynum & Oden is being saved for the playoffs) and the picture changes completely. 3-peat
The West shouldn't be a problem for Miami (10-2 so far).
