He's spot on especially how they as a company give their studios and partners one shot and if the next mega-franchise isn't created you're getting shelved or terminated.
The guys at the top clearly don't have a firm vision for where this thing is going. It's like a dog chasing it's tail. A clear indicator of this is that whole policy where all first party titles have to also come out on PC. Remember Quantum Break only on Windows store at first then they caved in and put it on Steam and they basically dropped support for updating the Windows store version.
It's almost like the bosses are just listening to their fanboys and running things by their whims instead of hashing out a steady direction and following a plan.
Even with the Xbox 360 at least the system had an identity of the dudebro shooter box to some extent. What exactly is the Xbox One? It's just the system people get because it was cheap and or they are anti-Sony. Outside of you having a thing for Halo/Gears/Forza or wanting the cheapest mainstream box to play games on a TV who in their right mind now goes into a store and gets the Xbox over the PS4?
The reason they're in such a distant second now is because they don't even have an identity anymore. Sony took all the dudebro shooter exclusive content contracts even.
