I love looking at that time from the perspective of the spread of Religion and how it shaped Economics and Politics
- Crusades happened at that time
- The Fall of Rome, combined with the rise of the Byzantine Empire. That is when CACs realize that they can use Religion as a tool of Colonialization, and to bring groups of people who had nothing in common under one rule
- Magna Carter signed around this time. One of the basis of modern CAC governments
- Breakaway from the Catholic Church was brewing. Philosophers like Thomas Aquinas, Augustine, William of Ockham, etc all laid the groundwork for the Protestant Reformation soon to come
- Spanish Inquisition of 1478 was the first instance where Racism was first institutionalized. Where CACs figured out they can create a system of racial subjugation, again using Religion as a backdrop. It was the main influence to start colonization of Africa and the Americas
