If the suits want it to sound good it will. You realize they have formulas and all sorts of egghead shyt to make songs bump. It’s just wheather the suits want to open up the checkbook. Big business doesn’t work on Supply and Demand. If they want it to sell it will.
Except that's not the case. Those suits do have a formula, and it's to mix songs as loud as possible ever since the MP3 player (now phone) took over the game, as the vast majority of people hear music through shytty headphones.

Ever since the early 00's, a well mixed and mastered album is a special and rare circumstance.

This thread got me like :dwillhuh: when 50 is on record saying he recorded GRODT in hood studios and used the cheapest budget he could

the last mastering was probably done in a big studio, you can record tracks in hood studios then take them to a major studio to get cleaned up

their is footage of sha money mixing one of the tracks with 50 in a normal studio, you can see the computer looked trash :mjlol:

That maybe but Dre still cleaned this album.
The mixing is immaculate.
Dre's mixing is over a good majority of this album.
