Best part is that they kept it simple, I've been saying since last year that the main roster has become so obsessed with recreating an "epic" that they've taken the worse out of the indy style and used it in WWE. As always, it worked wonders in the beginning but it gets repetitive and losses novelty with time. That's why Bayley's and Sasha's matches (before she went crazy trying to do unnecessary risky spots

) were so well received and fresh, they were great and way more simple than what the guys were doing on the main roster.
Now Mizanin does simple heel shyt, does a compelling control section within a nice story and we end up with a really good match. It would be nice if people scaled back a little bit, not having restrictions doesn't mean you have to go full indy on every fukking match.
That's why Rusev is one of my favorites too, dude is fukking great at the little things and does not go for a bunch of moves and kickouts every fukking time. shyt, he still hasn't had a "WWE epic" with a bunch of finishers, reversals and nearfalls, when he finally has one is gonna be a an amazing match because everything is gonna mean more.
Miz is actually good now but no one can convince me he's been good all along... he was trash when he was WWE Champ
He was becoming decent-above average in the ring when he got his WWE Title push imo. Then he took a dive and went back to barely decent for a couple of years with flashes of being good when he was in the ring with someone worth a damn (like the D-Bry matches). He got his groove back with his last heel run, he's been an ideal midcard heel for a long while and yesterday dude had near career performance, he was confident and worker a very compelling match, he's riding the wave of that money promo
