Seattles attacking core of Dempsey, Obafemi Martins, Marco Pappa, Lamar Neagle, & Gonzalo Pineda are trouble for the rest of the league. Once Dempsey gets back on the same page as his teammates :blessed:
Dempsey got a nice one in today already though :blessed:

The quality of a lot of MLS teams seems to change every week but there are a few clubs that are worth watching on a consistent basis:

Seattle Sounders
Portland Timbers
Vancouver Whitecaps
Real Salt Lake
Houston Dynamo
Sporting KC
NY Red Bulls(when they're not frauding it up)
Toronto FC(when Oduro and Defoe are on the pitch together & Bradley isn't frauding)
New England

Most of the decent teams are in the west. With a few exceptions, a lot of the teams have extreme up's and downs. The scoring is ok, but a lot of teams don't finish the majority of chances they create. In addition, the defenses are mostly terrible with the exceptions of RSL and SKC who usually have low scoring games. Need an example... the Houston Dynamo, one of the better attacking teams in the league went up 3-0 against Toronto FC.... in most respectable leagues, that is an insurmountable lead and most defense can protect that lead with ease. Not in MLS and not the Houston Dynamo who's defense has gotten progressive worse since 2010. They ended up drawing 3-3. The Dynamo are a team of pedigree(by MLS standards)... 2 MLS Cup titles(2006, 2007) and 2 runner-up finishes(2011, 2012). No respectable footballing club would tolerate a collapse like that. Blown leads like that are normal in MLS.

See Crystal Palace vs Liverpool and the fallout Pool fans had this past season.

When you have Beckerman running anchor and Rimando in the cut, no one's scoring on that :whew:

Pretty much.... It has to be frustrating though watching Dreads take shots at goal knowing that they'll never be on goal more often than not. I saw the game this weekend. It was like he never went to Brazil.

Watching the MLS is like watching minor league baseball. You see some potential young stars, some washed up stars and some decent soccer overall. It'll never be be the major leagues though, no matter what they call it :manny:
