Piccolo was the last real nicca on the team. Especially at the end of the Cell saga.

I always felt like even though the saiyans were monkeys and all that shyt that piccolo was a nikka, maybe it's because of the darker skin, his like no bullshyt attitude and his american dub voice, but when he fused with nail and then even kami, he shouldve atleast been ssj2 power level,they kinda fukked him because he wasnt a damn saiyan

Piccolo had a good run, he hung in there for quite a bit, even cell saga, I wouldn't say he was that weak. I know it's not canon but he held his own with the cell juniors, Piccolo is far from a scrub imo, now Yamcha that nikka is a scrub but piccolo had his michael jordan moment where he could no longer perform at that level so he did what all the greats do, teach. I remember reading somewhere from the creator himself that if piccolo fused with his father, he'd be as strong as perfect buu.

Piccolo was the grizzled veteran. He fought no matter what, he never backed down. Dude was 100% heart. Plus he basically raised Gohan while his pops was off training in heaven, cracking jokes in hell.

I know I say it all the time, but it's a SHAME how wrong a lot of these characters were done. Piccolo was that dude.

And Krillin was by far the most underrated member of the Z squad. Dude was catching saibamen bodies left and right, and came closer to killing Nappa than ANY of the other fighters (even Piccolo ). Dude was about that life at first he was the ONLY one still standing at the end of the Saiyan fight and would have thrown Vegeta into the bushes too, if Goku hadn't talked him out of it. He saved Gohan's hide I dunno how many times in the Saiyan/Namek sagas. It was his idea to go there in the first place.

Dude was all heart, and he ALWAYS had Goku and Gohan's backs even though he knew he was going to get messed up

also, Android 18 deserved at least one good fight in the Buu saga too. She was sonning Vegeta when she first appeared. What happened?

Goten and Trunks should NOT have been as strong as they were at such a young age. SSJ was officially played out once they did it. Goku and Vegeta struggled, fought, and suffered to get there, and Goten and Trunks just did it like it was nothing.
People are so quick to throw shade at anyone who's not a Saiyan, but Krillin and Piccolo held it down in the early sagas. Tien had his moments too.

The real sad thing is that if you took power levels out of the equation COMPLETELY and the fights were decided SOLELY on technique and skill, Piccolo would easily be top 3 in the series. (Goku, Vegeta, Tien, and Krillin rounding out the top 5 in terms of skill. In terms of power, Piccolo and the humans easily get ethered.)
