I am a more rational and less emotional person so I establish rules so there are no questions in case of a conflict, always refer to the contract.
Everyone rinses out their own dish after dinner. Whoever puts the food away or ate out the pot last should wash it/place in dishwasher. Everyone is responsible to clean his/her designated bathroom and room at least once a week, white glove clean. Pick up your own trash and if you have visitors, you are responsible for theirs. This rule applies to anyone over age 3 that lives/visit. Pissed my uncle/aunt off when they were reminded to place used towels and bedsheets in the wash before their 6am flight one time. I do not clean dirt that is not mine, especially for able bodied people. You don't like it, pay for a hotel or find another mate.

Will berate someone's kid and shyt parent in a minute if they leave their juice packs, cracker crumbs and toys etc about in my space. Guess I get it from my mom who was ruthless when I did not pickup after my grade school friends. Most people are slobs with no concept order and you must break them.
