My last name is unique. There was only one white family that entered the United States with it during the colonial period, in which I descend, and another that came after whose descendants are all Mormon and live in Utah. Any black person with my last name or some variation of it is bound to be family. Years ago found some folks living in San Diego that had my last name. After some research, found out they were the descendants of an uncle that killed a white man in Mississippi and went west to California because the mob was after him.

Low key pisses me off that my last name reflects 1% of my heritage.

How the fukk am I going to be 91% African but my last name reflects that 1%

If my old man wasn't consistent in my life, I'd change it with the quickness.

looks pretty much on point to me....Washington and Jackson are *black* names (according to the list, they are majority black names) so if you're in the black community you'll meet more people with the last name off rip
There are no African surnames on there and the overwhelmingly majority of black people in the States are African American so i highly doubt "immigrant names" would be messing with the states
