The city of Elfasher was under siege by the Rapid Support Forces the original Janjaweed (Arab militia) for over 600 days the UAE backed militia attacked the city non stop since the beginning of of the war in Sudan.
The resistance was able to prevent multiple invasion attempts on the city killing scores of these genocidal militants, so many that there was a manpower problem and the UAE brought mercenaries from places like Colombia to help them infiltrate the city. Even some of those Colombians got bodied but the UAE kept sending more mercenaries from places like Libya and even South Sudan which is quite bizarre because the RSF are insanely racist and there’s a racial hierarchy among them.
Human rights experts warned Elfasher was a kill box with no way for civilians to escape from the city. In fact they were being quite literal because the devils on horseback (the English translation for Janjaweed) from 2003 now equipped with NIMR armoured vehicles, suicide drones and Chinese anti aircraft weapons all supplied by the United Arab Emirates, dug huge trenches around the entirety of the city this was after they invaded Zamzam camp the largest displacement camp in Sudan home to 700,000 where survivors of the first Darfur genocide were residing and killed over 2,000.

So the berms that were dug up using heavy construction equipment prevented civilians from fleeing and the RSF began a complete siege intended to starve the city every aid vehicle was seized and aid workers were killed healthcare facilities were routinely bombed until the healthcare system effectively collapsed. Civilians started digging underground bunkers to escape the daily artillery barrages that killed masses of people every day. Then the RSF started using suicide drones to follow the civilians into the bunkers.

Airdrops were carried out to try and support the resistance, but ultimately on the 26th October the city fell in the hands of of the RSF with estimates as high as 2000 civilians already killed in 2 days. The berms that were dug up were ultimately a trap used to execute masses of men, women, children infants and the elderly who were trying to escape Elfasher and reach Tawila a town held by a “neutral” rebel leader Abdul Wahid al Nur.
The visuals are so horrific you can see satellite imagery of the pools of blood
in the city. They have cut off all communications in the city so it will be very difficult to find out exactly what’s going on on but the RSF have a barbaric and dumbass habit of incriminating themselves by committing war crimes on camera.
They already committed a genocide in Al Geneina killing over 15,000 members of the Masaliit non arab tribe including the governor of West Darfur Khamis Abu Bakr whose body they mutilated.
The inhabitants of Elfasher are mostly of the Zaghawa tribe another black non Arab tribe, so the goal of the RSF was always to ethically cleanse the city but they never had the means until the UAE showed up and gave them endless almost unconditional support.
I say almost because gold is ultimately what the UAE were after as well as more influence in the region.
One of the perpetrators of the genocide responsible for arms procurement and financing the operations Algoney Dagalo is currently in Washington DC at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel at 1100 Pennsylvania Ave he’s currently sanctioned by the US for his role in the war crimes but it looks like like because there are talks they might have let that POS in.
