Most current North Africans (Arabs) are Turkish in origin.
So they're trying to expand further inland.
Until Africa picks up the means everybody else has we cooked.
No more playing with these demons.

:mjlol:

Genetic analysis and the history of North Africa, particularly the Maghreb, would astound you.

That’s a lazy take as well…Islam the religion conflates and escalates the ethnic strife.

Even in Somalia while they do got clan issues but they use radical Islam as tools to fight the battles as well. Without that religion u would have more outside influence and education getting into these places. Islam in a low education place can lead to terrorism. Everywhere all over got ethnic issues but Islam can be used to keep the population dumb and uneducated. If Somalia wasn’t an Islamic state it would be on par with Kenya or Djibouti or Tanzania.

The lack of education and ignorance is the problem and Islam the religion basically prioritizes religion over everything. For Christ sakes they still cutting off women clit and doing child marriages and u trying to say religion is not an issue in Somalia :snoop:

Your argument might seem compelling on the surface, but it falls apart when you actually look at the evidence. The biggest problem here is confusing correlation with causation. Yes, Somalia is Muslim and has serious problems, but that doesn’t mean Islam caused those problems. Malaysia and Indonesia are majority-Muslim countries that have achieved significant development and education. The UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait have high literacy rates and Human Development Index scores. Meanwhile, non-Muslim countries like the Central African Republic, South Sudan, and Haiti face virtually identical challenges to Somalia with poverty, weak governance, lack of education, violence. If Islam was the determining factor, we’d see a consistent pattern across all Muslim countries, but we don’t.

The historical context also completely undermines this take. Somalia’s collapse didn’t happen because of Islam. Somalis have been Muslim for over 1,300 years!!!!

It happened because of clan allegiances, Cold War proxy wars that flooded the country with weapons, the brutal Siad Barre dictatorship (which was a Marxist Socialist Secular government), and the complete state collapse in 1991 that destroyed all infrastructure and institutions. Al-Shabaab didn’t even emerge until the 2000s, long after Somalia’s problems began!!!!

They’re a symptom of state failure, not the cause of it. You can’t just ignore decades of civil war and blame everything on religion.

The comparison to Kenya and Tanzania doesn’t hold up either. Kenya has significant poverty and has experienced serious ethnic violence (the 2007-2008 post-election violence killed over 1,500 people). And here’s the kicker: Djibouti is about 94% Muslim (60% Somali), which completely destroys the argument that Islam is what’s holding Somalia back compared to its neighbors.

As for FGM and child marriage, these are cultural practices that predate Islam and are found among Christians and animists in the same regions. FGM is widespread in Christian-majority Ethiopia and parts of Kenya, but it’s virtually nonexistent in Muslim-majority countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. These aren’t Islamic practices. They’re regional cultural practices that some Muslims engage in despite their religion, not because of it.

The reality is that the causal arrow runs in the opposite direction from your claims. State failure and conflict destroy education systems and infrastructure, which creates the conditions where extremism can take root. It’s poverty and lack of governance that enable radicalization, not religion creating poverty.

I’m saying Islam don’t help 1000%, and Islam since it can be interpreted many of ways it leads to radicalization in poor uneducated places Malaysia and Indonesia and I know Indonesia is the biggest Muslim country by numbers, dnt have a radical Islam problem. And then countries are actually very liberal when it comes to being an Islamic country. Probably some of the most liberal maybe due to their location or a mix of Hindu/Buddhist beliefs idk..UAE,Qatar, Kuwait all decent on outside but most of their people dnt even work, they practice human slavery, don’t invent shyt and so on and so forth. They just buy and import. Their only export is oil which is cool, many of oil rich countries have been in bad times and they ain’t but we not about to give them an A+ for not fumbling a good situation. Plus all the regional instability they are partaking in as well.,yea it lol good on outside but if they run out of oil money their whole society will collapse. They are strictly spenders and yea while they countries are mostly okay they literally import and buy everything. That’s unsustainable way to live and propped up on “slave labor”. And still UAE and Qatar probably some of the most liberal Islamic places on earth as well. Then black countries you named for significant problems, Islam would just pour fire on it and get Arabs involved…what is the biggest terror movement that last 20 years…most of it is Islamic terrorists. They are successful for a reason 🤔.

What u say about FGM maybe true but I know for a fact child marriages and suppression of women is heavy in modern Islamic culture..and what u saying might have started off as Christian or regional most other countries have grown out of it and not as widespread as Somalia. But you make good point, I just know strict Islam suppresses the women. Which is a good factor in the healthiness of a society has free women.

Okay where is the widespread Christian extremist movements in the last 50 years then…? Of course bad actors dnt really care about religion they use it as tool, but Islam is the easiest tool to use. U got regions being taken over but Islamic extremists and u say it’s not a big deal, Isis, Al Qaeda , Taliban, Black Isis, but it’s not a big deal, u are over simplifying my brother. Radical Islam can easily take hold and spread like wildfire, it doesn’t help black people or any people at that rate. I know poor Muslim kids in Kenya that their parents make sure they got to and pay for madrasa than school. Which in turn keeps them uneducated isolated and just plain dumb fools. Im a world traveler and this is my work of expertise, maybe not the why but I have to deal with, watch and live close too the result of radical Islam. So maybe me dealing with the result of radical Islam for so long have made me lean a particular way. I see the reality day in day out. How it get weaponized. So yea maybe I’m a little biased.

Arabs dont originate in Africa :dahell:

Those fukking Arabs came from Eurasia, same as Boers came from Netherlands and Germans in Namibia came from Germany, and the English Mugabe kicked out of Zim came from England.

Those Magreb settlers identity as Arab, as they are..

You’re still making the same fundamental error. You’re seeing radicalization in Muslim communities and concluding Islam is uniquely prone to it, when the actual pattern is that radicalization happens in places with state failure and poverty regardless of religion.

You asked about Christian extremism? There’s plenty of examples!!! The Lord’s Resistance Army in Uganda killed hundreds of thousands. Anti-Balaka militias in CAR committed genocide against Muslims. The Rwandan genocide happened in a majority-Christian country. Go back further and you’ve got Yugoslav wars with Orthodox Christian militias. Who committed the Bosnian genocide of Muslim men and boys thirty years ago??

In India right now, Hindu nationalist violence is widespread. In Myanmar, Buddhist monks incited genocide against Rohingya Muslims.

When you have state failure and ethnic tension, extremists weaponize whatever the dominant local religion is. That’s the pattern!

On the Gulf states, you can’t say “successful Muslim countries don’t count because they’re too liberal” and then claim “Islam makes countries fail.” You’re moving the goalposts. Either Islam prevents development or it doesn’t. And if you dismiss every successful Muslim country as “not really Islamic,” you’re just defining Islam as “only the bad versions count,” which is circular reasoning.

You saying Indonesia and Malaysia being “liberal” actually proves my point. It shows Muslim-majority societies can interpret Islam in ways compatible with development. The interpretation that takes hold depends on political and economic conditions, not some inherent quality of the religion itself. How did Islam spread to Southeast Asia? It wasn’t by the sword or at the barrel of guns.

And sure, there are societies that suppresses women. But those strict interpretations gain traction in places already failing. The Taliban emerged from war zones after the Soviet Union’s war in Afghanistan and refugee camps.

Al-Shabaab emerged from state collapse.

ISIS emerged from the Iraq War’s destruction. Courtesy of George Bush.

These movements don’t appear in stable, functioning states, they appear in power vacuums.

Your Kenyan madrasa example actually makes my point. Those parents are poor and desperate, madrasas are free or low cost while schools cost money. That’s an economic problem expressed through religious institutions. If those families had resources and functioning schools, they’d make different choices to get both complete secular and Islamic education.

I said last 20 years….and as for right now people are retreating and becoming more tribal and drawing a line in the sand…and I’m saying the liberal ideals come from the other religions beliefs as well. It’s not pure Islam doing the heavy lifting. I don’t claim to know everything but I’m not gne paint with broad strokes, Islam is the flavor of the month for the last 20 years for terrorists..not saying it’s the prime cause but they use it.

Where are the Christian terrorists in Kenya then? Why not? The Christians are the ones being killed why dnt u see the opposite? And u got to add in the perceived superiority of being Arab adjacent as well. I maybe oversimplifying but they u are too..in Kenya the coast is the most uneducated and the most terrorists. That religion is helping, and everybody got the same country but only a certain population decides to be terrorists.

What does that have to do with anything you’re starting to derail the thread… with personal attacks

What he said was correct the RSF soldiers might have muslim names and shout Allahu Akbar but they also destroy copies of the Quran and defecate in mosques. After Khartoum was liberated there’s a video somewhere on twitter of a Toyota pick up truck driven into the mosque with women’s underwear left in the mosque. This isn’t to do with interpretation of Islam or any other faith it’s to do with sadism.

One of their field commanders calls himself Gog & Magog and openly calls himself a rapist. They are just demonic they don’t have any theological philosophy just steal, murder, rape and burn. They’re the modern Khmer Rouge.
Somalia being an anti black country that has enslaved black people isn’t a personal attack it’s just a fact. It doesn’t matter if that hurts your wittle feelings.

Do you even know what Salafism is or how the Quran speaks about slavery or how Islam even spread into Africa ? I’m willing to have this discussion in a separate thread since you guys are having a hard time in this thread

Black muslims in America, arent seeing the Islam the rest of the world is dealing with and think shyt is cute..and Black Muslims in Africa think Arabs are their masters.

You cannot discuss these issues with the average American because they have been sheltered from the rest of the world and have no real knowledge of this world we live in.

The non Islamic nations in Africa cannot realistically form any military alliances with Islamic nations there, no matter how well intentioned because they can never trust those people. This is why the AU will have to split, or die.

The Sudanese would back Arab states like UAE and Saudi Arabia over a non Islamic African Republic.
