I did more research and found some shocking results. northern states actually rank higher than most southern states on criterias such as mass incaceration, education, black home ownership, segregation etc

For example new jersey, wisconsin and iowa are the top 3 states in america with the highest black vs white differential in incaceration rates.

Missisipi (55%), south carolina (53%) and alabama (52%) rank top 3 in black home owenership in America

While wisconsin and illinois are two of the most segregated states in America

I don't know breh. The north just might be more racist than the south

Wisconsin and Illinois are virtually empty states outside of Milwaukee and Chicago so I’m pretty sure 90% of their data is largely based on those two cities!

That has more to do with the white flight and discrimination housing laws back in the 40s and 50s that didn’t allow blacks to buy homes in suburbia.

Add to the fact that the heroin and crack epedemic would follow creating a whole new generation of poverty and there you go!
