There is definitely a trend in the gaming industry to hype up every bullshyt game. In the past, 9/10 or 9.5/10 scores were given to absolute classics. I can't believe some of the shyt modern games get away with.

My top candidates this year:

Witcher 3. The definition of a shytty gameplay. Nobody gave a fukk about past games. Suddenly this game has amazing story, so amazing that everybody ignores non existent gameplay. If you want a great story, play Tales from the Borderlands or go read a book. Don't call this trash best RPG ever.

Fallout 4. Another money grab by Bethesda. More of the same bullshyt simplified even more, on archaic engine and with addition of Minecraft (wtf).

I am about to play MSGV after reading some of 9/10 reviews, but I have a bad feeling about this one too.

I haven't watched a Fallout 4 stream that didn't bore me to tears, but I can't say it's overrated because I haven't played it. I just don't understand the appeal.

Based only on games I've played, I'd have to go with Arkham Knight. It's a good game, but based on it's rating it's definitely overrated.

Nah you got it backwards. Games are getting much lower scores across the board. Games sitting at 80+ now would have been 90+ a couple years ago.

As for the games you mentioned in the OP have you played them or just making stuff up?


The most overrated game IMO has been destiny. I didn't get rave reviews, but from what I played the game was utterly repetitive trash. For the life of me I can't understand how so many people put so much time into it. Even long time players were trashing it while still putting in hundreds of hours. shyt makes no sense to me:dwillhuh:

Yeah I forgot about Destiny. It got old real quick for me. Idk how the fukk so many people put that much time into this game.
