Innanet hype done fukked the game up.
Back then u only seen games through magazine pictures and shyt from time to time so you ain't really have much to know about. Once the game came out, you didn't have much expectations. Nowadays?? you got forums hyping shyt up, journalists, "REVIEWS", "BESS GAEM EVR!!1" from comment sections etc setting your expectations VERY high.
To me, the best games be the ones i wasn't even checkin for.

Games were more enjoyable when you had less exposure to them. You saw a game, bought it and played it. Nowadays you can know everything about a game, go into it with preconceived notions and 8 times out of 10 it'll disappoint.
