the other cases i see people saying "yeah my parents invested 200k in my startup..." and in that case i can see calling them self-made is kinda iffy since most people don't have parents with hundreds of thousands to invest in their idea.

No it doesn't. System says that you can find a place in the economy, or carve your own space..if you prepare and get education, training, and/or experience.
Millionaire aspirations are pipe dreams for all but a fraction of people. Billionaire aspirations don't even register.

Tyler literally got it out of the mud. People are supposed to "hate billionaires", though, so there won't be any pushback to including him in the list.
Video is trying to undermine the business accomplishments of wealthy people.
There are probably thousands of people with the same backgrounds, and resources,access to capital...so if only a handful create businesses that generate hundreds of millions, then you can't really downplay what they built.
