As a black man I've been saying it since the age of I can't remember. Recently I decided to stop using it all together. The origins come from hate and disrespect and while black people have flipped it for the most part, why is the only or major thing we have been able to flip from our dark beginnings in this country. Slaves were conditioned to be subservient in addition to hate one another and look at each other as less than human. Fear one another and sadly that shyt still goes on in 2013.

I don't want any other nationality to use the word but if I use it what the fukk am I complaining for? Now other nationalities feel the can call us and each other nikkas but most of the time they do it out of anger and say it as a form of disrespect. Black people make up one of the smallest groups in this country yet we have so much influence in American culture, yet we use it for all the wrong shyt most of the time. shyt needs to change.

More in the sense of...like "my nikka...."
I don't say it like..."you're a nikka"

Not that it's really right to say it either way.

I used to say nikka a lot when i was younger. Then I saw this guy mocking me in college and I saw how ignorant it actually was. Then I realized I could say the exact same things but instead of saying nikka I'd say "dude" and it would mean the exact same thing, except I wouldn't sound ignorant....so, basically that's why I say Dude or Bro a lot.

bruh...the use of the word nikka is the least of the problems facing black people. unemployment...out of child wed lock....the income disparity...brothas in prison....etc....

anyone of those problems or any ones i didnt list should rate higher than this.

there is no quagmire...there is a distinct difference between the word nikka and ni**er. you and bill oreilly and anybody else that tries to use our use of nikka as reasoning for them to say ni**er.

and be honest...how many times have you been called a ni**er outside of the internet?

im almost 40 and i doubt its been more than once or twice...and i think that was a car of white kids driving past me or some shyt.
