I love Latina women
Veteran
I been listening back to this album the last few days and I actually like it now.
The Chronic.
Hear me out.
I was straight East Coast Boom Bap Rappity Rap. I liked spitters from anywhere. Cube. Face. But mostly I was Das Efx Onyx LeadersONS Tribe Wu Mobb.
The reason the Chronic irritates me is because mostly the barz are not great. Snoop be freestyling and shyt.
The production is top notch of course. And now I appreciate it as a classic.
But look at Dre 2001. High lever production AND barz. Even Dre was killing it.

Tha Doggfather...everyone was saying it was so wack that I believed them but as the years went by and the more I listened to it its really not imo
couldve left a few songs out sure but the majority especially the posse cuts are bangin
btw I always thought this should've been the front cover

I didn't ever hate it but similar to you I was a hardcore East coast head and just wasn't checking for it.The Chronic.

First N.E.R.D album is the poster boy for this for me.
Album sounded nothing like I thought it was going to as a huge Neptune's fan.
On first listen I was like what tf is thisbut it was moreso from a "Neptune's" mindset.
I went into the album expecting the "Neptune's sound" not really realizing that this was going to be a completely different sound.
I sat with the album again and it ended up being one of my favorites ever.
Very dope album.
I just played that a couple weeks ago...
Now that we're on the subject,
Paid Tha Cost To Be The Boss is a slept on album.
