Jobs all over the country.. But these same people rather not work for $16hr because the CEO made 1 billion dollar last year..
However, they spent their stimulus money making the same people they hate RICHER..

And for the irresponsible mfers, im not talking about people who did the right thing and still may lose they home.. Im talking about the idiots who jagged all that money on dumb shyt..

People took on this "the working man is a sucker mindset" to the extreme and lost badly

I just went through hell with my wife's old rowhome in Philly that we had been renting:francis:
tenant was already not paying the rent before the pandemic and should have been out of there for months but its illegal to just throw a tenant out (most of the cases on Judge Judy, etc are about illegal evictions)
the pandemic hit at the right time for her because you got to take them to court and pay out the ass in court fees but since everyone put a freeze on the evictions the court case has been delayed for over a year
one day last summer we just showed up with a locksmith and she called the cops and they said we couldn't change the locks but that scared her enough for her to secretly move out of there a few months later (we notice no water was being used)
so i broke in and changed the locks, same day her drugged out cousin came in asking for his clothes and boots and I was like here you go, get out:camby: he was still living in the basement:childplease:
old tenant left a whole garage of clothes and pics that we either threw out or donated:manny:
Its a sellers market because this place needs alot of work and we put it up for sale AS-IS because I was not going to put anymore money into it :martin:
but we still sold it for profit:win:

Its not just lower class/poor folks taking advantage of the no eviction moratorium, rich folks were doing to same thing. There's a bunch of folks in the Hamptons that haven't been paying rent/mortgage on those big houses out there also.
what area in Philly? It's scary how many houses are for sale in the city.

So if I wanted to move out my parents crib for a cheap price now would be the time?

Above the fray.
The outcome is still going to be the same regardless of which party is/was in office. It was only going to be so long that the rent moratorium could be in place without having to come up with a long term solution to the problem.
Elected officials, and justices appointed and confirmed by elected officials will be the ones who decide what happens in the short term and in the long term.

so NY extended their eviction ban until August 1st I believe. The federal law would trump the State law correct? If so this is why in these situations I don't know why states decide to pass their own version if landlords can choose to look at the federal law over the state

I thought the pua was an extra $600 per week wasn’t it?

unemployment is bi weekly.. Its possible they were getting an extra $1200 a month, on top of the U.E benefits..

Bottom line is people was bragging about how they got more money sitting on they a$$ vs working.. Fine.. I was happy for them.. I just hope these aren't the same people about to sleep on a park bench..
