"Robinson said pressure from coaches to take the game more seriously, focus and mature led him to therapy."

That whole article was a refreshing read. With Nate's personality, he would be the last person you would expect to be depressed.

I always said that dude deserved to be on some team's roster. He is too talented of a basketball player not to be playing in the NBA. Ex, José Calderón is getting NBA checks STILL :hhh:

I don't think that had anything to do with it. He was basically a model citizen after Boston. He tore his ACL when he was in Denver, and he was never the same after that. He's just not as quick as he used to be

Yea, I think Doc Rivers didn't sanction buffoonery in general. He should have continued working on his handles and jumpshot because he could hit midrange and three but with a little better handles he could have created more opportunities for himself even after his athleticism left him.

LB ruined damn near every player he spoke to in Charlotte alone. Larry Brown is just a bitter a$$hole

It’s why I kinda laugh at the “Detroit should’ve taken Melo” stance. Not denying that in hindsight it absolutely would’ve been a better move than what they did, but I just can’t picture a scenario where he & Brown doesn’t become a disaster

Agreed. People laugh at the Darko drafting but I wonder what type of player he would have been had Larry Brown given him more minutes.

:salute:Nate for being open and honest about his depression.

I deal with it myself. Meds put in that work tho so I'm back better than ever.

Hopefully he gets other brehs to see it's nothing to be ashamed of, and there's effective treatment available.
Rootin for breh to reclaim his rightful spot in the league:myman:

I felt like Mike Breen and the Knicks were too hard on Nate. Aside from his flaws hes one of the few that gave it 100%

I wont ever forget what he did for the Bulls in the playoffs, that lil nikka played like a star. Carried them farther then most thought they would go

He was never IT status defensively, he always tried his best. I hope he can comeback but his times probably passed. In that case i just hope hes doing better now
