Everyone calling the NBA rigged and corrupt all the time. Even here on the coli.

People have been saying this for years. It's just picked more steam now that it's not the glamour franchises running shyt. People not only acknowledge the BS that the likes of the Cs and Lakers have received it actually adds to their lore. Trust me if we were headed for a Lakers/C's final AND the Lakers or C's had a top 2 pick in the upcoming draft everything would be a-okay just like the good old days :smugbiden:.

Well in all fairness that is bullshyt :heh:. A team "winning" the lottery 3 of 4 years is suspicious and that's an understatement. That said most people wouldn't have as much of an issue with it if it wasn't the C's and Lakers missing out on said pick. If those teams along with the Knicks and Bulls were still playing now and it was just some of the "peons" who looked to be getting shorted and thusly stuck in purgatory it would be all good.

It looks ridiculous imo for sure, it just feels like Gilbert is being bribed.
