Just like you believe no rapper will reach 2pac's divine reveredness, you have an entire young generation who never grew up on him and instead grew up on someone like Kendrick, whose malleable minds will hold him in that light that you do 'Pac.
You're not wrong in that peeking behind the curtain has removed a lot of that allurement that things once upon had, but I don't think that's ever been in question. The argument that folks use about nostalgia clouding judgment is that they think that players and/or the game were better. By that very nature, I think folks would be better served to seperate their affinity for a player/era and what is better.
Just because you like a player more doesn't mean they're better.
